I received this last night from a wonderful Couple serving in his mission...
then when I woke up this morning I had this in my email from the mission office
"Dear Family, 22 June 2016
Elder Atkinson has arrived in the Australia Adelaide Mission safely. Sister Parker and I are mindful of the great trust you have placed in us by sharing your son. When he arrived, we met him at the airport and he was taken to the mission office to be introduced to the office staff and assistants. The following day he participated with the rest of his intake in orientation, photographs and interviews. Our interview was followed by dinner and testimonies at the local church building with the other arrivers and senior couple missionary staff.
Elder Atkinson’s companion is Elder Taleo from Port Vila, Vanuatu. They are serving in the Malak area of the Darwin Zone. We are including a picture of Elder Atkinson with President and Sister Parker.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MAIL (including PACKAGES) IS TO BE SENT TO:
Australia Adelaide Mission Office
ELDER TY ATKINSON
PO Box 97
Marden SA 5070 Australia
I am aware that the Lord blesses, in many special ways, the families of missionaries. As your son serves, you will find that to be very true. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Missionaries are allowed to send and receive email from family and limited friends only. They check their emails at the local library on preparation day, which is usually Monday.
Warmest Regards,
President R. Jeffrey Parker
